Galapagos, Amazon & Machu Pichu - Trip of a Lifetime!

We had a fantastic time.....thank you so much for organizing such a memorable trip.   We had no problems as people met us at all venues and got us to where we needed to be.   The accommodations were outstanding, so much more than we expected.   I felt the entire trip was my favorite experience....each leg of the trip was so unique it is hard to pick a favorite.I am so glad we connected with you as this was a trip of a lifetime and you certainly made that dream come true. Thanks again for your expertise and kindness in working with us on this adventure, I won’t hesitate to refer you to others when I tell them about our trip.

Christine's response: I so enjoyed designing this adventure for you and your friend, and am glad that you had so many favourite experiences!

Madagascar: Why is this Lemur in my hair?

We had a wonderful trip - it was outstanding, even though the airline cancelled a flight at the last minute and you had to flip the itinerary around.  We got to see all kinds of lemurs - 10 species in all - and got up close and personal, as in "Why is this Lemur in my hair!" They are so inquisitive, but non-threatening,  They upgraded us at the beach resort - it was gorgeous and not busy at all.  The hike on our last day was really good.   The forest is gorgeous!  Madagascar is not a touristy place... we found some great handicrafts, local chocolate and coffee , but no t-shirt shops at all.  I certainly got my money's worth on this trip - it's great value, and I want to go back again!

Christine's response: Happy to hear that the last minute change didn't affect the enjoyment of your journey, and that you got to meet so many Lemurs in the wild!

Surpassing all our Expectations

Thank you so much for putting our trip together to the Galapagos Islands, the Cloud Forest and the Amazon.  We have had a chance to review both itineraries in detail and our general impression is WOW!  You have managed to put together an itinerary that surpasses all our expectations and has just the right types of experiences we were hoping to find.  As my son would say  AWESOME!

Christine says: There is nothing more satisfying for me than to design a journey with your specific preferences in mind, and then to receive such a lovely response. Thank you!

Meeting the Gorillas!

The trip was awesome and yes, we did get to meet the gorillas.  I almost had a baby one in my lap.  Benny got slapped twice by an adolescent and Shari got slapped once.  It was awesome!

Christine's response: Wow - what a wonderful experience. Unforgettable!

Experience of a Lifetime!

Antarctica was an incredible experience. We were mesmerized. Every day was a new adventure. It really is indescribable . One has to go there to understand how magnificent and other-worldly and massive nature it.  And there's nobody there.  It was always just us. It's like being on a different planet. I'm so happy I did it!Eric - a fellow sailor put together a video from our amazing expedition to Antarctica.

Christine's response: What fabulous photographs you brought home after your wonderful experience. And yes - it's true that it is hard to fathom what the Polar regions offer, so I am very glad you shared a video!

The trip to South Africa was AMAZING!

Christine did a wonderful job organizing our South African safari!  We spent 4 days at a fantastic camp in the Greater Kruger Park and I cannot say enough about this place. Our ranger P.J. and tracker Kenneth were incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The game drives were an incredible experience, so much so that I did not want to leave! Our flights, transfers and every other detail went very smoothly. I definitely want to go back someday!Thank you for organizing such a great trip!

Christine's response: This is one of favourite game areas too - so glad you enjoyed your time there!

Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley of Peru and Galapagos Islands

Yes, we had a wonderful trip. We enjoyed the itinerary.  Glad we went to Galapagos at end to relax. We enjoyed the hotels, especially the one which was originally a monastery. Our son loved the Amazon River Boat, especially because there were two children his age on board.  New Year's Eve aboard was a unique and positive experience.Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu were amazing.  Being that I suffer with migraines, the elevation did not bother me.  Lima and Quito were enjoyable.  We ate guinea pig and Alpaca!Kind Regards, Grewal Family

Christine's response: Happy to hear that you had a wonderful trip, and that you enjoyed your time in Peru and on the Galapagos Islands!

HIghlights of our South African Safari to Kruger Park and Madikwe

The trip was very enjoyable, and all of the arrangements that you made for us ran very smoothly.   Highlights included seeing a pack of wild dogs chase a leopard up a tree in Sabi Sands, and tracking and observing a black rhino in Madikwe.  The lodges were very well kept, the staff were incredible and the service was excellent.  We also enjoyed Capetown, especially the drive down the Cape Peninsula (penguins and Cape of Good Hope).  We have an old SLR camera, but rented a 600mm lens for the trip and were able to get some “National Geographic” photos…. Now to find the time to organize them all and put them in an album, including some pics of us with the TravelBoecker hats – part of our wonderful trip memories!   Best, Leyla, Chris, and Santiago

Christine's response: What a great experience to see Wild Dogs chasing a Leopard, and the Penguins in Cape Town! Can't wait to see some of those fantastic photos.

Breathtaking South Africa and Mesmerizing Namibia

Magical and memorable! We let Christine plan our entire 2 week stay in South Africa and Namibia, so - what a wonderful surprise to arrive at the Cape Grace after a full day of travel. That set the tone to the quality we would come to enjoy for our entire trip. Each day we thought things could not get better and they did. The private tours and carefully chosen excursions that were arranged allowed us to experience the best in the most efficient manner for our week long stay in Cape Town and Franschhoek. With one week to traverse through Namibia, while hitting the highlights, we flew to each new destination, from Sossusvlei in the south to Damaraland in the north. Here in this breathtaking country we went hot air balloon riding, quad biking and desert elephant and rhino tracking, to name a few highlights. The luxury lodges/camps we stayed at introduced us to the challenging environment for wildlife living in a country plagued by drought for 5 years, but countered by the delight of the local Namibians who conveyed their love for their country despite the harsh conditions. We asked Christine to create an itinerary that would allow us to experience a bucket list of activities--she most definitely accomplished this objective. Thank you!

Christine's response: It was an absolute pleasure to design this trip for you, and I am thrilled that you enjoyed your journey. Your positive review encourages me to keep on doing what I am passionate about - planning wonderful trips for wonderful clients.
And - I'm happy to report that it is currently raining in Namibia!
